Thesis

The written bachelor thesis (including its original text, figures, diagrams, and other non-software content) is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0).

This license applies only to the thesis and other documentation explicitly released under CC BY-SA.

If you create an adaptation of the thesis or any other material released under CC BY-SA 4.0, you must provide appropriate attribution to the original author and distribute the adaptation under the same CC BY-SA 4.0 license, as required by the license. Independent works that merely reference, cite, or build upon the ideas presented in the thesis are governed by their own licensing unless they constitute adaptations under applicable copyright law.

Software

The software developed as part of this work is licensed separately.

• CANdigger and CANdigger-eda: GNU General Public License v3.0 or later (GPL-3.0-or-later)
• CANveyor: GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later (AGPL-3.0-or-later)

Each software repository contains its own LICENSE file, which is the authoritative source for the licensing terms of that repository.

Relationship Between the Thesis and the Software

Although the thesis describes and references the software, the licenses remain independent.

• The CC BY-SA license governing the thesis does not apply to the software source code.
• The GPLv3 and AGPLv3 licenses governing the software do not apply to the thesis text.
• Code snippets reproduced within the thesis are included solely for explanation and documentation. The underlying software remains licensed under its respective software license.

Third-Party Components

Third-party libraries, datasets, images, fonts, or other materials included in this project remain subject to their respective licenses and copyright holders. Their licensing is unaffected by this document.
