I recently acquired Livox avia. its quite a good Lidar and is meeting all my requirments beside FOV adjustment. I have looked around but couldnt find anything inside the official documentation. I have a bandwith constraints and i can not afford 5MB/s data streaming over my wireless netwrok. Adjusting the FOV from 70 degrees to 30 degrees will really help me. Is it really possible to do so?

One more thing will be really helpful, how to change the scanning pattern of avia

I recently purchase Livox Avia and I'm trying to install the operating programs SDK, ROS etc. I'm presuming that you have already install them and is using the lidar? Could help me install or give me some pointers on how to? Your help is greatly appreciated.

What point are you currently struggling with?

  1. First you have to establish connection with your pc using appropriate ip address
    use livox viewer to see if the connection is established or no
  2. https://github.com/Livox-SDK/Livox-SDK
    follow this repository for the livox-sdk
  3. https://github.com/Livox-SDK/livox_ros_driver
    follow this one for ros compatibility with livox avia
    Afterwards you can use any public available library for your use case
